Arriving during the off-season in Praia meant a quiet setting, yet Sol, the warm-hearted host, made my stay at Haleakala Hostel & Pousada truly welcoming. The room was spotless and cozy, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Although the pool was weather-worn, the attentive service and charming atmosphere overshadowed any minor inconveniences. The basic yet satisfying breakfast and the delightful company of two furry friends, Coca and Dolca, added a delightful touch to my stay. I initially planned for just one night but extended my visit to three due to the impeccable cleanliness and efficient organization. Sol's dedication to guest satisfaction shone through in every aspect, making for a memorable and relaxing experience.
